A New Puppy!
We haven’t posted much of anything with substance on here in a while. There just hasn’t been much going on around here to post about. We’re not working on any projects and not doing anything photo-worthy. But now we have something to post! Yesterday we got a new puppy!
Her name is Cookie Sydney Cookie and she’s six months old. She came from the family of a co-worker of Jess’s that won’t have the time to give her the attention she deserves, so they decided to give her away. We’ll give her a great home. Simon’s happy to have a new friend.
Update! After convening with the elder counsel, Goodman Saber informed us that Cookie is not a good name given that that word carries strong, flavorful connotation in the local doggy vernacular. Cookie was that name given to her by her original owner but it seems it won’t fit in our tribe because it will be confusing. So we’re going to ween her off of it and she will henceforth be known as Sydney.
Update 2! It’s been a couple of days since we decided that Cookie wouldn’t work for a name given it’s other meaning, yet we haven’t called her anything but Cookie. I think we both don’t like the idea of changing the name that was given to her. So, I just completed her dog license application, and on it her name is listed as Cookie. That’s just who she is.
