Getting to this place was nuts. We had to four-wheel up a road no wider than the Jeep for about 15 minutes only to find that they were closed.

They did have nice views, though.

And after we got back down the other side of the mountain,
we discovered this was the road we'd just descended.

These crape myrtle trees were everywhere.
I wish we could grow them around here.
